General Rules:

  • Safety First: Safety is the top priority. All participants must adhere to safety regulations and guidelines at all times.

  • Driver Briefing: Before the event begins, all drivers must attend a mandatory briefing session to review track rules, safety procedures, and event-specific guidelines.

  • Skill-Level Groups: Participants will be grouped based on their indicated skill level on the sign-up form. This ensures that drivers with similar experience levels are on the track together, enhancing safety and enjoyment for everyone.

  • Passenger Prohibition: Passengers are strictly prohibited during track sessions. This is to maintain focus on driving and to minimize distractions.

  • Track Time Sessions: Each group will have three track time sessions, each totaling 15 minutes. It's important to adhere to the scheduled session times to ensure everyone gets their fair share of track time.

  • Pit Lane Speed Limit: A speed limit will be enforced in the pit lane for safety reasons. Participants must adhere to the designated speed limit when entering and exiting the track.

  • Many circuits have a sound limit for exhausts. Please ensure your vehicle complies with shaken regulation for sound. Vehicles with straight pipes will be asked not to participate.

On-Track Behavior:

  • Respect Flags: Participants must be familiar with and obey all flag signals used by track marshals. These signals indicate track conditions and provide important safety information.

  • No Passing in Restricted Zones: Passing is only permitted in designated passing zones. Participants must not attempt to overtake other vehicles in restricted areas where passing is prohibited.

  • Point-By Overtaking: Overtaking must be done safely and with a clear "point-by" signal from the leading driver. The leading driver should indicate their intention to be passed by signaling and/or moving to a predictable line on the track.

  • Maintain Control: Drivers must maintain control of their vehicles at all times. Reckless or overly aggressive driving behavior will not be tolerated.

Off-Track Behavior:

  • Pit Area Etiquette: Participants must maintain a tidy and organized pit area. Tools, equipment, and personal belongings should be properly stored to avoid hazards and ensure a clean environment.

  • Respect Facilities: Respect the facilities and property of the race track. Dispose of trash and waste in designated receptacles and refrain from causing damage to track infrastructure or amenities.

  • Courtesy and Respect: Show courtesy and respect to fellow participants, event staff, and track personnel. Good sportsmanship and positive interaction contribute to a safe and enjoyable event for everyone.

Safety Gear:

  • Helmets: All drivers must wear approved safety helmets while on the track. Helmets should be properly fitted and securely fastened at all times during track sessions.

  • Safety Harnesses: Vehicles equipped with harnesses must ensure they are properly installed and utilized according to manufacturer specifications.

  • Protective Clothing: Participants are encouraged to wear appropriate protective clothing, such as fire-resistant suits and gloves, particularly in high-performance or competitive driving environments. At minimum: gloves, long-sleeve shirt and long pants.

  • All vehicles must tape their headlights.
